![]() ![]() We spent the evening by candlelight drinking Bri’s delicious versions of whatever random cocktail recipes we pulled up on our phones. After dinner we came back and it was busy still, but the ambiance was perfect. She understood and told us she’d be happy to go off menu if we do. She asked if we planned to come back after dinner, we explained we don’t get out much and didn’t know or like most of the stuff on the menu, so probably not. ![]() She told us she saw it was our anniversary on OpenTable and wanted to make it special and surprised us with a champagne cheers! We were thrilled. We were struggling to get a good picture when the bartender, Bri, kindly offered to take it for us. The speakeasy was busy with only one person working, so we decided to keep it simple and split a drink and go. We didn’t know about the speakeasy, so we took her recommendation and made a reservation there for before dinner. The front desk lady Kayla was really friendly and recommended some great spots for dinner and the hotels Speakeasy for drinks. We chose this location because it’s center of the city and we love old historic buildings like these. We (my husband and I) booked a room to celebrate our anniversary/getaway from the kids.
